In order that stops a person from doing things that cause (or are likely to cause) harassment, alarm or distress to members of the public.

ASBOs were repealed and replaced by civil injunctions and Criminal Behaviour Orders on 20 October 2014.1

Since 20 October 2019, any post-conviction ASBOs still in force have automatically been treated as a Criminal Behaviour Order.2
