The law and practice when working with or representing children facing criminal allegations is complex. Outcomes are often worse than they could be.

Our workshop for youth justice services and other professionals working with children in the criminal legal system is facilitated by leading experts and covers the following:

  • Introduction to the key offences and latest developments including sexting
  • Out of Court Disposals for sexual offences
  • Sentencing
  • Notification requirements.

This workshop will help you to develop confidence around the legal frameworks at play when children face allegations of sexual offending.

Our facilitators are a source of expertise on the law, best practice and how to get outstanding outcomes for children. At these small sessions the facilitator will nurture conversation between the attendees enabling peer learning and rich discussion about the different issues arising around England & Wales.

“Clear, practical, and relevant. Essential for anyone working with children in the youth justice system.”
