Kat has been working in event management since 2014, organising student recruitment fairs, seminars, and panels internationally, coordinating with participating universities, visitors, and suppliers during her work in QS Quacquarelli Symonds.
In 2019, she moved to the Careers division of The London School of Economics and Political Science to run events aiming at helping students progress in their professional careers and finding volunteering opportunities.
During the pandemic, from 2020-2021, Kat helped pivot all the event operations online, sourcing out and organising activities on virtual platforms and training colleagues on the new ways of delivery.
Upon closing her contract for LSE, Kat took a short career break and returned to events in 2022. While working for The Institute of Customer Service, she helped to promote the organisation’s initiatives for members and non-members, contributing to increased engagement and swifter internal processes.
Kat now works on YJLC's event delivery and contributes to the organisation's business development.
Kat has a BA in Journalism and Social Communication.
Outside of work, Kat enjoys reading, listening to heavy metal, and learning languages.
